On the last day of March, a group of evangelists from “Church of Christ the Savior” of Cheboksary under the leadership of its pastor went to the village of Khyrkasy, Cheboksary district, Chuvashia Republic.
Eight months ago evangelists came to this village to bring the Good News and continued to work there. And now eight months later they came again to start regular weekly meetings.
It is so obvious that the Lord is working in the hearts of people, and the seed of the Word of God, which was sown, has begun to bring forth fruit. There are eight people that are in the new group. Some of them have already read the New Testament, but others have heard the Gospel for the first time. They have such hunger and desire to read and learn God’s Word. They asked a lot of questions. Brothers and sisters shared their testimonies and preached about Christ. They sang worship songs and prayed for people.
At this first meeting brothers and sisters had some time to talk with people about their problems.
They talked about salvation, the meaning of life. They spoke about what Christ has done for them and that God really loves them. At the end they all gathered at the table.
The Gospel has come to the village of Khyrkasy! Let the name of the Lord be blessed!
