KAZAN – On May 8, the Gospel House Church of Kazan hosted a regional women's conference for the churches of Tatarstan. The main theme of the conference organizers chose Bible verses describing a wise and humble woman: “Strength and beauty are her clothes, and she looks to the future with cheerfulness. Her mouth opens with wisdom, and meek instruction is on her tongue” (Proverbs, 34:25, 26).
This was the main topic of messages delivered by the guest speakers: Larisa Grabovenko, leader of Women's ministry of Evangelical Pentecostal Union, and Elena Khuda, coordinator of Women's ministry of the New Testament Church of Perm. Raisa Evchik, Larisa Raskovalova, Olga Voronina from the churches of the regional association also participated as speakers.
From 10 am till 6 pm sisters listened to God's Word, prayed and had rich fellowship. The musical group “Ray of Hope” came from Naberezhnye Chelny. They sang songs of praise in the Tatar language.
The conference gathered participants from different cities: Naberezhnye Chelny, Elabuga, Nizhnekamsk, Chistopol, Kam-Polyany, Almetyevsk and others.
The organizers thanked Larissa Grabovenko, leader of the Women's Ministry, for her edification and encouragement.
