YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK – On June 20 and 21, the Good News Church in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk hosted a men's conference called “Courage” as part of the Christian men's movement #CMNRUSSIA.

The main speaker at the conference was Bishop Simon Milongo from the Grace of Jesus Christ Church in Volgograd. Pastors from local churches and Sergey Lyashok, senior presbyter of the Sakhalin Association of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith, took part in the event.

Fifty brothers from ten evangelical churches in Sakhalin had fellowship, edifying each other spiritually and worshiping the Lord.

Rim Nabiullin from the Light and Love Church shared his impressions: “The conference gave me a very strong push to confirm my choice and direction in serving God.

The themes of these days were reflections on three key words: “altar,” “tabernacle,” and “wells.” What depths of truth are hidden in the simple things that surround a person who is faithful to God in his choice. And how God blesses His chosen ones if they walk in His ways.

Through Pastor Simon, the Holy Spirit conveyed and instilled in us a firm hope in God, showed examples of sacrificial service so that we, the participants, could be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit!”

Stepan Poluyanov, assistant pastor of the Good News Church, expressed his sincere gratitude: “I am grateful to God, the speakers, and the organizers of this conference. Bishop Simon Milongo's message was very profound. I liked that not only spiritual but also practical topics were raised, which made me think about different areas of life.”

We believe that during the conference, God's fire burned in the hearts of the brothers, making them true men after Christ's own heart. And they carried this fire to their families, churches, and cities.
