BRATSK – A vivid testimony of unity and faith concluded the two-day women’s conference “Always Rejoice. Pray without ceasing”, which took place on April 11 and 12 in Bratsk, in the sports and recreation complex ‘Champion’. It was attended by women from 12 churches of the Irkutsk region, and the main heroines were the sisters whose stories inspired and whose prayers brought a miracle.

Day One: Faith Overcoming the Taiga
The opening of the meeting began with praise and worship, after which the sisters from the Blessing Church of Kirensk shared moving testimonies of God's work in their lives. To join the event, they had to travel 700 kilometers through the inaccessible taiga, — a journey that became a metaphor for their spiritual resilience. The evening of the first day turned into creative worship: the participants acted out biblical stories in pantomime, eliciting laughter, joy, smiles and prompting reflection on the Word.

Day Two: The Power of the Holy Spirit and Healing
The morning of the second day began with testimonies from sisters from Tulun and Bratsk. They shared miracles of healing, restoration of families and personal encounters with the Holy Spirit. Especially touching was the testimony that God granted healing right during the meeting to one of the participants from an infirmity that had plagued her for more than three years! It was unbelievable — how strong the hand of the Lord that touched her here at the meeting!

Unity, gifts and barbeque
The program included not only spiritual fellowship, but also interactives, where women learned new things about each other, exchanged gifts and warm wishes. The meeting ended with a festive dinner with tasty kebab, songs and prayers of thanksgiving.

“We leave overflowing with joy,” said one of the participants. — This meeting was a reminder: we are not alone in our trials. God is at work here and now!”. In the evening, the women traveled to their churches to share their experiences — and to inspire others to trust in the One who is always faithful.

May this story remind everyone that joy in the Lord is our strength!
