The Moscow Risen Christ the Savior Church congratulated veterans on the Victory Day

MOSCOW (RUSSIA) - The Moscow Risen Christ the Savior Church organized a concert for the WWII veterans and residents of Moscow on the Victory Day. The event took place in the Chertanovo district of the city on May 9. 120 people attended the concert.

The program included video footage and songs from the war years. There was dancing, poems and congratulations. At the end of the program pastor Nikolai Kuznetsov addressed the audience with a short sermon and words of thanksgiving to veterans.

Children and adults from the church actively participated in the program. Everyone was pleased with the performance of the author and musician Sergei Mineev. The quests attentively listened to the songs of their military youth and wept. They were very happy and thanked the church for remembering veterans and for the presents that the church prepared for everyone – assorted candies and the Word of God.

After the concert, the organizers said that they were very satisfied with the results, their expectations were fully justified. Currently, the church makes preparation for the Children's Day.
