SAINT-PETERSBURG – St.Petersburg hosted ‘Depth 2023’ — a Conference for Children’s ministers of churches of the Northwest federal district. It was held May 6–9 and gathered 162 ministers from 9 regions.
The speakers at the Conference were bishops and senior elders of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith/Pentecostals in the Northwest federal district, pastors — people of faith with many years of ministry experience who have devoted their lives to God and the church. The Conference provided an opportunity to come together for fellowship, sharing of experience, edification, worshiping God together, and prayer for each other.
What did participants say?
“The most important thing I took away for myself was that with God's help we can do it, because the Lord wants our children and teens to go through the process of becoming individuals and make the final decision to be part of the church. And we, ministers and parents, can help children by communicating with them, fasting and praying for them, just being interested and involved in their lives. We have each found our strengths and weaknesses in our ministry, and now we will move forward with renewed passion.” — Natalia
“A blessed time of fellowship, ministry, equipping and guidance in an important and necessary ministry. There were over 150 of us from all over the Northwest region. It was really a deep dive — sermons, praise and worship, seminars, hands-on work sites, fellowship and prayer. May God bless those who were at this wonderful event, to start moving toward the new peaks and horizons that God has revealed to us.
