RUSSIA IN NUMBERSThere are 158,000 cities, towns and villages in Russia. 29,000 of them are abandoned. The population of Russia decreases by about 1 million people annually. There are 25,000 parishes of Christian denominations.
75 % of Russians consider themselves to be believers, however only 7 % of them pray and 2 % follow God’s commandments.
According to the official statistics, 14 % of all people who live in Russia live below the poverty line.
Every year over 100,000 people die from drug abuse.
Every year 50,000 children run away from their homes, because of domestic violence.

We know that only God can change this situation. As the Union of Pentecostal Churches in Russia, the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith is striving to provide the living Word of God to every person in our country.
There are 1,600 churches joined with the Russian Church, which have a God-given vision and strategic plan to reach the entire nation of Russia with the message of the Gospel. This is a group of committed Christians that have the necessary means to train and equip evangelists and missionaries in effective and functional outreach projects and programs. We call this the ‘One Year For Jesus Project’.
ONE YEAR FOR JESUS PROJECT
Our goal is to reach every community in Russia by mobilizing 20 teams of Christian volunteers who are willing to dedicate at least one year of their lives to evangelism in all parts of Russia, from Kamchatka to Kaliningrad. Ultimately, we would like for each team to reach 50 towns/villages per month, for 10 months each year, over 10 year period of time, which equals 100,000 villages/towns.
God is giving us a great opportunity to present the Gospel to every soul in Russia –
We will also conduct a 3 month training to raise up evangelists and missionaries, they will work alongside these teams. In 15 regions we will launch Bible courses to provide additional training to those already working in ministry. Once trained, additional teams will be launched. We would encourage our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to share the Good News as we continue to equip pastors and missions in planting new churches in Russia.
Just imagine… one team could reach 50 communities per month, totaling 500 in one year. If we have 20 teams reaching out to the lost of Russia, we could reach the entire nation with the Gospel in 10 years!
