PERM – The new year for the youth of the New Testament Church in Perm began with the LIVENTC Conference, which took place in Perm from January 2 to 5.
At LIVE, young people spent time in fellowship, worship and edification by the Word of God. Each of them chose to spend this winter break with the benefit to their spirit, because LIVE is a great opportunity to start the year right.
At the opening of the conference, Pastor Alexander Khudyakov inspired the youth to reach a new level and strive for spiritual maturity, because there is an awakening coming, and they need to be ready for it. Every day of the conference began with morning prayer and worship, where participants prepared their hearts to accept God's Word and new revelations.
The second day was distinguished by a bright Talent Show and talk show “How to get your neighbor”, where Lena Volkova and Lisa Zhuravleva shared the secrets of evangelization in everyday life. At LIVE there were workshops, where participants learned how to overcome temptations, arrange their personal lives, worship, evangelize, find their calling and manage their finances properly. Throughout the conference, pastors equipped and encouraged the youth with instructions.
Guests of the conference were musicians SokolovBrothers — two brothers Alex and Sergey Sokolov, the band YOUTHURALWORSHIP and worship groups from churches in Tyumen and Chelyabinsk.
Traditionally, raffles and video contests were held at LIVE, where young people won T-shirts with the conference logo.
Every winter LIVE gathers a lot of young people in Perm, and every year the geography of the conference is expanding. This winter in Perm participants from 92 cities and settlements gathered: Sevastopol, Azov, St.Petersburg, Moscow, Vladimir, Vorkuta, Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Ufa, Novokuznetsk, Khanty-Mansiysk and many others.
“If last year 700 participants came to Perm, this year we had 940 participants and we are pleased, because the conference is growing”, — Elina Burdova, one of the organizers of LIVE shared.
“Most of all I was glad that at LIVE this year a lot of adolescents came. I would say that at this conference it turned out to be more teenagers than youth. In fact, it's great when teenagers reach out to God and follow the example of youth!” — said conference participant Ksenia Kamensky.
