GORNO-ALTAISK – On June 14-16, the annual regional women's conference "Looking to the Future" was held in Gorno-Altaisk. Women from churches in Altai Krai, the Altai Republic, and neighboring Siberian cities of Novosibirsk and Omsk gathered together to study the Word of God, pray, and have fellowship.
Larissa Grabovenko, head of women's ministry, and Elena Huda, coordinator of women's ministry in the Volga Federal District, head of family ministry of the New Covenant Church in Perm ministered at the Conference.
Ministers Svetlana Metla (Biysk), Julia Velikaya (Omsk), Oksana Murzina (Barnaul) and Natalia Kamynina (Gorno-Antaysk) conducted master classes on the most topical issues, where participants could get answers to their questions.
During the three days there was a balanced teaching and instruction in faith, and it was inspiring to look forward to the future with confidence!
Of course, there were gifts and surprises. This year there was an innovation — “Swap: try it on” — an event where any participant could bring her own clothes and exchange them for others. Each woman was assisted by stylists in selecting a new outfit.
The conference concluded with the evening “Golden Jerusalem”, where the message about the city that awaits us in Heaven, and what God has prepared for those who love Him not only in this age, but also in the age to come!
In the program there was an interactive game about life values. It helped participants to understand the resources and talents given by God, to look at their lives in the perspective of the future.
The evening ended with praise and worship to God. According to the participants, the evening filled them with joy, God's peace and grace.
