SYKTYVKAR – From March 30 to April 1, the RESTART Youth Conference was held in Syktyvkar. 150 young people from Ukhta, Sosnogorsk, Pechora, Yemva, Vorkuta, Syktyvkar, Kirov, Kazan, Perm, St. Petersburg, Cherepovets, Moscow and Sheksna gathered at in the new building of Syktyvkar Source of Life Church.
Among the speakers were bishop of Russian Church and lead pastor of the Source of Life Church Pavel Kudrov (Syktyvkar), youth pastors Georgy Kudrov (Syktyvkar) and David Grabovenko (Perm), youth ministry coordinator Roman Purshaga (Moscow), youth ministry coordinator of the Vologda Association Alina Motso (Cherepovets), youth leader of the Philadelphia Church Anna Kudrina (Naberezhnye Chelny), New Testament Church minister Mark Kudrov (Moscow), pastor of youth worship of the Word Life Church Karen Karagyan (Moscow). They talked about God’s calling, wisdom, responsibility in ministry and life.
There were eight master-classes: ‘Life After Study’ by Roman Purshaga, ‘How to Serve in Social Media’ by Polina Ershova, ‘Modern Evangelism’ by Victoria Petukhova, ‘From Youth Group to Ministry at Church’ by Anna Kudrina, ‘How to Find the One and Only’ by David Grabovenko, ‘Psychology and/or Christianity’ by Alina Motso, ‘Worship as a Lifestyle’ by Karen Karagyan and a presentation of the One Year for Jesus Youth project.
Before the services the themes “Relationship with God”, “Humor”, “Music”, “Vape and hookah” were raised, on which the speakers of the conference reflected and shared their thoughts with the audience. At each service there were contests: participants won a Bible comic book, conference souvenirs, certificates, a set of stickers from Polina Ershova.
During the breaks guys and girls participated in active games and contests, took pictures in the photo zone.
Each morning started with prayer and praise to God. The conference ended with an evening of praise and worship with Karen Karagyan.
