On October 28, in the town of Dmitrov (Moscow region) Grace Academy celebrated the beginning of the new school year and a new school building dedication. On behalf of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith, Ivan Borichevskiy, the head of the administration, greeted students and professors.
Today, hundreds of the alumni serve in local churches in the countries of the former Soviet Union, including Russian churches that are part of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith. Once Jesus told His disciples to stay in Jerusalem and wait upon the promised from the Lord. The time of study can be compared to that – it’s the time, when students are in one accord waiting for the promised revelations and power to do His will.
Pastor from South Korea Kim Guan Shin, one of the founders of the Grace Academy has flown down for the celebration. He is 79 years old, but he continues to serve God, preaching His Word.
The celebration concluded with a festive meal.
