KRASNOYARSK (RUSSIA) – On January 3rd through 5th Christian youth conference “Heroes of 2018” took place in Krasnoyarsk. About 200 people from different cities and towns gathered at a concert hall ‘Rain Studio’. The event organizer was the religious group the Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith ‘Heavenly culture’ of Krasnoyarsk.
The conference began with the sermon of bishop Maxim Usachev. This year five speakers were preaching: pastor of the Risen Christ the Savior Church of Abakan Vladimir Kobozov, pastor of the Salvation in Christ Church of Krasnoyarsk, head of youth movement of Krasnoyarsk Association of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith Dmitri Dolgopolov, pastor of the Covenant of Christ Church of Krasnoyarsk Vasiliy Pigeev, bishop of Krasnoyarsk Association of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith Maxim Usachev, senior pastor of the Word of Life Church of Orenburg, business trainer Vitaly Bushter.
Four workshops took place: “Wisdom of priority management and the hero’s time”, “Effective thinking” (Vitaly Bushter), “True love waits” (youth pastor of Christian Life Church of Krasnoyarsk Andrei Yelovikov), “Implementation of social projects” (Alexei Rudykh).
n anticipation of Christmas on January 4, a concert took place, where “Боttuчелли” show ballet and “Paraclete” rock band (Bratsk) participated. In the morning of that day there was a Prayer breakfast where participants reflected on God’s Word.
During the three days we heard many testimonies of healings, Holy Spirit baptism, forgiveness of sins and many more. It should be mentioned that in the “room of the supernatural” true miracles happened: young people received prophecies over their lives and opened their hearts for God. The final evening of the conference was Praise and Worship night. Praise is a great power: no matter what we face, what troubles we have to go through – praise is the answer. That night the hearts of the youth lit up even more, and we believe that since that moment they will serve God with even greater desire and bring fruit.
