Representatives of protestant churches met during the Russian Jewish Congress

MOSCOW (RUSSIA), Jan 22 – The Russian Jewish Congress (RJC) hosted an event in honor of the leaders of the protestant churches of Russia actively involved in perpetuating the memory of Jewish victims of Nazism in the Russian Federation. The collaboration began in 2010 as a part of the Judeo-Christian dialogue and a joint project of the RJC and the "Holocaust" center.

The reception was timed to the International Day of the Holocaust. Beside the representatives of the protestant churches of Russia there were members of the Board of Trustees of the "Restore dignity" project and the representatives of the Presidential Administration and the Government of Moscow.

The participants summarized the activities and outlined the perspectives for the joint efforts to erect monuments and conduct educational programs.

The Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith was represented by Pastor Ivan Borichevsky, the Head of RCCEF Administration.
