RUSSIA - Youth ministry news - Our youth ministry is srtiving to equip and multiply youth leaders and students to reach the younger generation with a life-changing relationship to Jesus Christ. We are using the strategy and training materials of the Reach Out Youth Solutions ministry. Here is our latest news.

Smolensk: Training Session One On September 30, the Youth Ministry training was started in “Bethlehem” and “Trinity” churches in Smolensk. 12 youth leaders took the responsibility to walk the tough way to the very end. We express gratitude to bishop Andrei Lisovski and pastor Artyom Orlov for the support, warm welcome and contribution! The first orientational session is passed, there’s a lot of work and triumphs ahead!

Kemerovo Christian Center: Round Two A long-awaited second round of training for the youth group has started in Kemerovo Christian Center. A team of actively involved in the youth ministry guys and girls has gathered. The trainers are leaders with great experience who were the very first group of people trained in Russia in 2008-2009. Since then they have been teaching strategy in other cities of Western Siberian union. With great inspiration they invest their knowledge and leadership skills to the youth of their church. The descent shift has been raised – soon they will gain knowledge, will stand by the side and will share the responsibility for the young generation of Kuzbass and our country.

Perm: Once you’ve been trained, train others On September 12, a field session of the youth ministry team of “Christ the Savior” church from Blagoveshensk (Bashkortostan) took place in Perm. The team was trained by the young leaders from Perm “New Testament” church, who have recently graduated the Youth ministry school. At the session the importance of every person on the team was discussed. The participants have passed the DISC test, were able to evaluate their own weaknesses and strengths. The session has finished with a discussion about how every person can be useful on a team.
