MOSCOW (RUSSIA) - On June 12 of 2016 a solemn ceremony of awarding a doctoral degree to six PhD students took place at All-Russian conference of Russian church of Christians of Evangelical Faith. The doctor’s degree was conferred to: Sergei Yastrzhembski, President of Moscow Theological Institute, Aelita Zhidyaeva, Academic Vice-President for Moscow Theological Institute, Igor Ivanenko, Vitaly Nakul and Sergei Zhidyaev – Professors of Moscow Theological Institute and Pastor Alexander Nikolaev.
The Doctor degree diplolas were conferred by Sergei Podnyuk, President of Theological Institute in Minsk, PhD and D.D. and Alexander Vasilevski, Academic dean of “Vision” International University, Doctor of Practical Theology.
It was the first group of graduates of Doctors of Practical Theology of “Vision” International University in the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith.
Edward Grabovenko, the Head Bishop of Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith addressed the graduates with a word of guidance. He pointed out that ministers should keep their hearts humble before God and continue to serve the church in the sphere of education and preparing ministers. The ceremony was closed with a prayer of blessing the D.D.s by all the participants of the conference.
