ULAN-UDE (RUSSIA) - Team from Ulan-Ude continues to minister in cities and towns of Buryatia. In April, evangelists went to Selenginsky district, to Selenduma, Gusinoe Ozero, Novoselenginsk and Gusinoozersk towns. Usually we come to every house. we try to visit again and again people who are not open to the Gospel. On this trip there were 52 families that we visited for the second time, 21 people accepted Jesus as their Savior. We pray that home churches would be started in those villages.
We continue to keep in touch and support home churches that were planted in Kyakhta, Petropavlovka and Ivolga. God opened an opportunity to conduct a 4-days training for new evangelists. 16 people were in the training and are now in the field.
In May, two of our teams participated in a 4-days missionary trip to Kyakhtinski and Dzhidinski disctricts. God answered our prayers and we were able to visit 212 houses, 119 people heard the Good News and 89 of them prayed the sinner’s prayer. For the first time we visited the village of Bulag and realized that nobody have ever preached the Gospel there. Many people said that they knew nothing about Christ, and they didn’t have either Christian literature or the New Testament. Many were open to the Good News and invited us to come back.
Please, continue to pray for the team, evangelistic ministry, new home groups and churches. We have a need to fix the running gear on three vehicles and to buy two sets of summer tires for the cars. Thank you for supporting us.
