ST. PETERSBURG (RUSSIA) - On December 10 and 11, St. Petersburg hosted the Global Leadership Summit 2015. It was organized by the North-West Association of the Russian CHurch of Chrostoans of Evangelical Faith and the Church of Evangelical Christians-Baptists.

A featured speaker of the summit in St. Petersburg this year was Dr. Satish Kumar,  pastor of the church in Hyderabad, India, which has over 120,000 members. The minister shared the word about family, ministry and personal relationships with God.

The Global Leadership Summit is a unique opportunity to join more than 260,000 Christians in more that 120 countries, who seek God, want to grow and mature in the Lord, and become more effective ministers. Messages of the preachers who participated in the summit blessed, gave food for thought, strengthened our values, raised new questions, inspired and, of course, threw new challenges! These two days in St. Petersburg became a real blessing to all who attended the summit!

The Global Leadership Summit organized by the Association of Willow Creek (WCA) (http://willowcreek.ru), which was founded in 1992 to help Christians grow their leadership to maximize Kingdom impact. WCA is committed to a singular idea: that inspired, encouraged and equipped Christian leaders create thriving local churches that redeem their communities for Christ.

The Global Leadership Summit is held annually in the church of Willow Creek Community in the suburbs of Chicago and is broadcast via satellite to hundreds of other sites of the United States. Then, the best sermons are translated into more than 45 languages, and then the summit is being held in the live video mode for approximately 120 countries. In Russia in 2015, the summit was held in Volgograd, Irkutsk, Moscow, Novorossiysk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, St. Petersburg. On January 22 and 23, 2016 the last of them will be held in Perm.
