ROSTOV-ON-DON – Harvest Festival was held on September 27th in Rostov Christ the Savior Church.
On that day, traditionally believers did not come to the Sunday service empty-handed. The parishioners brought fruits, vegetables, canned food, cereals, sweets and other products. Volunteers distributed them in bags for families with kids, single elderly people and all those who applied for charity aid.
The service was bright and fun. There were songs of praise, dancers prepared creative numbers. The church building was decorated with thematic decorations. Ministers thanked God for the fruits of spiritual and physical life. The senior pastor, Bishop Vladimir Khvalov preached about the importance of thanking God for everything and being faithful to Him in any circumstances.
