Water baptism in the "Philadelphia" church, Izhevsk

In Russia
IZHEVSK (RUSSIA), Feb 11 - In 2014 it was the first water baptism event that took place in the "Philadelphia" church. On that day 17 people made a covenant with God. It is noteworthy that among them there were more men than women. Also, a number of young people were baptized.

Relatives and friends of the baptized came to share the joy of the event. Each person stepping out the baptistery with a renewed spirit was greeted with applause and congratulations.

Before being baptized all 17 people attended a class where they were explained the essence of the action. Each of them also had a personal talk with pastors to ensure they had a full understanding of baptism.

When the water baptism was over, the pastors prayed for every person to be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

The celebration continued in the church cafeteria.
