MOSCOW, Feb. 6 – With great sorrow we heard about Brother Ossie Mills going Home to be with the Lord. On behalf of myself and on behalf of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith I would like to offer our deepest condolences to family and friends.

I met Ossie when he was Executive Vice President at Oral Roberts University and Executive Director of Empowered21.

He was a man of positive thinking, always smiling. I appreciate that every time we met, he had a word of encouragement for me. And I saw that he had godly influence on my sons, who were students of ORU at that time.

As Ossie said himself, his life was about helping leaders expand their influence. And he really succeeded in that. I will remember him as a person who inspired me to invest into the youth, to work more diligently on partnerships and team building, to think about being creative in leadership.

Very thankful to God for bringing Ossie into my life. He was a great servant of God who touched many lives and left a rich spiritual legacy that will last. We pray for comfort and peace from the Lord to his family, friends and colleagues.
