ROSTOV-ON-DON – An interdenominational women’s conference took place at Rostov-on-Don “Christ the Savior” Church on March 9. It was devoted to the International Women’s Day.
200 women participated in the event. The speakers of the conference were ministers of Rostov area: Lyubov Fedorchenko (“Christ the Savior” Church, Veselyi town), Lyubov Chuprina (“Christ the Savior” Church, Volgodonsk), Valentina Shorokhova (“Nazareth” Church, Azov).
Lyubov Fedorchenko spoke about “a woman being a battery that charges her family with energy. God has wonderfully made her: beautiful, tender and inspiring”.
Lyubov Churpina encouraged women to keep following God in spite of any circumstances, “If we listen to God’s voice, our life and our heart will be transformed. But sometimes the will of God is unexpected for us. So we need to submit and enter His plan”.
Valentina Shorokhova encouraged to overcome all challenges and difficulties with a thankful heart, “Sometimes we meet people on our way, who are difficult to deal with, it seems they push us away, but we need to remember that through them God is molding us and preparing to fulfill His calling”.
The participants of the conference worshiped God, took part in interactive activities, enjoyed the performance and fellowship. The celebration of the International Women’s Day had an air of love and acceptance, and for many women became a bright inspiring event.
