PERM (RUSSIA), Nov. 2-4 – The National Women’s Conference “Life in the Spirit” took place in Perm. About 700 people participated in the conference. Among them many guests from different cities and towns of Russia: from churches of Altai region, Komi Republic, Perm area, Sverdlovsk area, Volga region and Transbaikal.
The conference theme was “Life in the Spirit”. In the First Epistle to Corinthians apostle Paul writes, “My preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (chapter 2, verse 4). That is exactly how the services of the conference can be described. That was the demonstration of the Spirit and power. God baptized some women with the Holy Spirit and many of them were healed, He touched every heart through the women in ministry.
The speakers of the conference were pastor Sharon Daugherty (Tulsa, USA), pastor Anna Kristensen (Oslo, Norway) and Head of Women’s Ministry Department of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith Larissa Grabovenko (Perm, Russia). Simple sermons revealed that without the Holy Spirit, His leadership and fellowship we are not able to build the Kingdom of God in our homes, families, churches and our communities to the full. The Holy Spirit longs to communicate with us, to encourage us and open us the sacred knowledge of God, to give us wisdom and direction. He desires to talk to us and we are able to hear His voice!
The conference has become a celebration of God’s love in the Holy Spirit and fellowship.
