Essoyla is a town in the north-western part of Russia, in Republic of Karelia. Recently a local church in Essoyla hosted a Million Leaders Mandate training organized by the New Life Church from Petrozavodsk.
The Million Leaders Mandate program, developed by John C. Maxwell, was held in Russia in 2005-2007. The program is designed for leaders to go through leadership training and then they are to train others. Training in Essoyla and Petrozavodsk started in 2008 and it is still going on.
This time there were about 50 leaders from Petrozavodsk church that travelled 50 miles to get to Essoyla. The trainers were from St. Petersburg area – Pastor Dmitry Kovalinskiy (Harvest Church, St. Petersburg) and Pastor from Tosno Vyacheslav Shvedov.
The program is very important for the church, as different ministries’ leaders can learn spiritual principles of leadership not just theoretically , but also they are given practical advices and tips how to develop their abilities and reveal the potential that God put in them.
