Song of Siberia: Sergey Sokolov urged worship ministers to enter into their calling

In Russia

“To compose our own songs, Siberian songs, born in our revelations, pain, “valley of the shadow of death”, awakening new souls to salvation”, — this is how Sergey Sokolov, a member of the SokolovBrothers creative tandem, urged Siberian ministers of worship to enter their calling.

The musician said that God does not create Himself a faceless army, He interacts personally with everyone. And for the worshiper, He has an intention. “Doesn't God profoundly intend for us to be revealed in a special way in His eternal plan?” — Sergei asked. He suggested composing songs that would lead people to spiritual salvation.

At the end of October, a workshop with the SokolovBrothers took place in Angarsk's Grace Church. The project has existed for eight years, during this time more than a thousand songs of praise to God have been written. Sergey and Alexander Sokolov were born in Temirtau, Kazakhstan. Sergey lives in Magnitogorsk, Alexander moved from Kazakhstan to Perm a few years ago and serves in the New Testament Church. The brothers visited the Irkutsk region for the first time. After the seminar and an evening of praise and worship in Angarsk, they went on an excursion to Lake Baikal.
