VOLGOGRAD – On June 10 and 11, the Grace of Jesus Christ Church in Volgograd held a regional conference called “The Day of Your Victory”.
Two days were filled with worship, prayer and edification. The teams from churches of Volgograd and Astrakhan led worship. Bishops Alexei Rudenky (Yakutsk), Simon Milongo (Volgograd), Sergey Gorbenko (Omsk), Andrey Khoroshchenko (Novokuznetsk) and Pastor Oleg Bulkin (Sochi) explained in their sermons the principles necessary for a victorious Christian life.
How did the heroes of faith made their journey and what trials did they overcome with dignity? How to overcome difficulties? How do we minister to orphans and families in crisis? These and many other questions were answered at workshops held by Bishop Sergey Gorbenko, Pastor Oleg Bulkin and Ivan Ilyushin, the head of the ‘Russia Without Orphans’ Alliance.
The conference was a great opportunity to serve the Lord with talents. Both adults and children presented their wonderful and creative numbers.
The conference passed, but the participants were left with the word of God, the inspiration and strength to make each next day a day of victory in the Lord.
