CHITA – On November 25-27, a conference was held in Chita to celebrate the 31st anniversary of Salvation in Jesus Church. The title of the conference was ‘Living by Faith’.
Guests came from towns and villages of Transbaikal Region, Buryatia, Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk Regions.
Bishops Eduard Grabovenko, Bishop Ivan Marchuk and Oleg Demin from Bratsk ministered at the conference. Bishop Leonid Biryuk came from Belarus, and Mikhail Andronovich — from Krasnodar region. He and pastor of Chita Church Andrei Panasovets were on the same missions team to Transbaikal Region 31 years ago. Pastor Andronovich continues to support the church. He often visits the church and teaches in the Bible school.
Ministers preached about faith — how to trust God in different times of life.
On Friday, November 25th, Head Bishop and other ministers prayed with the laying on of hands for each person who came to the altar with a prayerful need.
Three workshops were held during the conference:
1. Using spiritual gifts
2. Signs of trust in the Lord
3. Biblical stewardship of finances
