SUVOROV (RUSSIA) - In the town of Suvorov in Tula area we have an acquaintance named Alexei. Once he decided to join us for an outreach, and we took him with us. We talked to one man, then to another. Suddenly Alexei points to an elderly man and tells us that he knows him. What a coincidence! Alexei said the man was his teacher of history at high school, and invited us to meet him, and we did.
Alexander Alexandrovich turned out to be very opened, inquisitive and… lonely. He is originally from Siberia, and all his family lives there, he came to Tula area by chance and had to stay. We talked with him about God. He gladly accepted our invitation to study the Bible.
Right after our first meeting he told his neighbours about us. So his young neighbor Sergei comes to our home church meetings together with Alexander Alexandrovich.
It is evident that they are really interested in Christian songs and sermons. And last Sunday Alexander Alexandrovich and Sergei came to our church service in Kaluga and received answers to many of their questions. At Christmas time our friends invited Jesus to their hearts. It is safe to say that Alexander Alexandrovich came to Tula area for a reason, it was part of God’s plan for his life!
