Galina: «What should I do to be saved?»

Stories
CHYORMOZ (PERM REGION, RUSSIA) - Our missionaries met Galina in the town of Chyormoz in Perm Region. She is a nice person who leads a good life; she has never stolen anything, never lied, never envied. There is only one problem in her life: everybody offends and deceives her, it is so hard for her to forgive them – bitterness and disappointment torment her soul.

Galina is an atheist: she doesn’t believe in God; all humankind has monkeys line as an origin, life ends with its last breath. She was so surprised to find out about God who created the whole Universe; it was a completely new concept to her to learn about the first sin and God’s redemption. “What should I do to be saved?” – asked Galina in puzzlement. She was so surprised to learn about Jesus Christ that whoever calls upon His name and receives Him, shall be saved. With sincere heart Galina prayed a sinner’s prayer. Our missionaries prayed for her healing and gave her a copy of the New Testament. At the age of 71 this woman found her Savior!
