ST. PETERSBURG (RUSSIA) - Recently at a subway station, we handed out invitations to a Christian youth rally. People accepted invitations differently, but one boy, a teenager of 14 years old, began to ask us to take him to this event. His age required parental consent, so I decided it would be right to talk to his mother. Vanya gave me her telephone number.
I was a little worried, because I understood that likely his mother would be against it. How to convince a mother to let her son to participate in a religious event with strangers. However, I called and told who we were and what we were going to do at the event. Her answer was unexpected: the woman not only allowed her son to go, but she wanted to come herself! Since then, Vanya and his mother attend meetings at our church, they prayed the prayer of repentance. And recently, Vanya’s grandmother also joined the church. God himself found this wonderful family!
