BOGORODSK (NIZHNY NOVGOROD REGION, RUSSIA) - This past summer, we visited Vorsma, a small old town of 11 thousand people. We split our team into two smaller teams and visited each house on one of the streets. We saw indifference and frustration in the eyes of many people there. However, we met other people who got very interested in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They wanted to receive a gift of the Bible and reconcile with God.
Ekaterina Kovaleva, one member of our team, met a man who was very surprised to hear the news about Christ and the forgiveness of his sins. With sincere heart he responded to God praying a sinner’s prayer.
Irina Petrenko, another team member, met an elderly woman by the name of Lyudmila Petrovna, who was sitting on a bench in her yard. As soon as Irina saw the lady, she felt a strong desire to tell her about God. Lyudmila Petrovna listened carefully and with an open heart accepted Jesus in a prayer.
