Grandma Anna destined to spend eternity with Jesus

Stories
KASHIRA (RUSSIA) - A town of Kashira in Moscow area, where we met with grandmother Anna, has a beautiful landscape and clean air. The city on the banks of the Oka River is surrounded by forests. Perhaps that is why God gives people long and eventful life.
Grandma Anna, survived the World War II. She almost lost her hearing, and so the whole yard where we met with the 90-year-old pensioner heard the Good News that was told her. Anna shared with us how hard her life was: always lack of food, hard work. But in spite of all this, she continued to work and not to faint. Anna told us about her ailments and that she couldn’t be outside for a long time because of the pain in her eyes, but she continued to smile and looked cheerfully.

Having listened to her, we encouraged her by telling her about eternity with Jesus Christ and heaven, where would be no pain and disease. Anna told us that she knew how to pray – long time ago she learned from her mother, but regreted that she could no longer remember the prayers. We consoled her that she could pray to the Lord in her own words, from her heart. Then Anna repeated the prayer of repentance, accepted the Lord as her Savior and reconciled to God. Now, after meeting with the team of evangelists, she is destined to spend eternity with Jesus.
