POLYANA (KALUGA REGION, RUSSIA) - A young boy named Nicholay lives in the village of Polyana in Kaluga region. He did not know anything about God, he had never been told about Christ. He often spent his time aimlessly wandering the streets of his town. But one day he met the young evangelists who came to his village for the second time. It turns out that they did not think that in this small village people were very responsive and open. In their first visit, they were surprised by the responses of people to the gospel message: many prayed the prayer of repentance. Evangelists came back to visit new converts. It was then when they met Nicholay.
Nicholay was glad to meet the young guys who were so different form his friends and enjoyed listening to them. He thought about the meaning of life before, but questions of his new friends about faith in God and news about the Savior helped him to find the right path. He prayed the prayer of repentance and was delighted to receive the New Testament as a gift.
Well, and we were grateful to God that we found in this village so many open hearts. And were so very happy for Nicholay!
