BARNAUL (RUSSIA) - As a result of evangelistic efforts of the team from the Light of Revival Church of Barnaul two years ago in a town of Pavlovsk a home church was planted. 8 people attend it today. Once, sister Irina’s little daughter got sick. Late at night the girl had a fever. There were no medicine at home. Since it was late no drugstores were open. Only fervent prayer to the Lord saved the girl’s life. The fever went down almost immediately and was gone. The girl recovered quickly. Praise the Lord!
Before Irina got saved, for many years she was in a serious quarrel with her sister. The two young women lived in the same town, but never talked to each other and tried not to see each other. However, the Word of God is alive! His love is able to melt hardened hearts. Once, when Irina got saved, the Lord spoke to Irina: “Forgive your sister”. With God’s help she began to change her attitude. The changes became obvious. She began to take care of her sister, call her and visit. And the time came when sisters were able to forgive each other, they reconciled and asked God for forgiveness. Today both sisters are Christians, they are the best friends in any life situation.
