The Lord is saving souls in Plamenka

PLAMENKA, VOLGOGRAD REGION (RUSSIA) - A new home church started to meet in the town of Plamenka in Volgograd region after evangelistic outreach.

Among new converts there is Tatyana, 40 year-old local resident. She was one of the first to get saved. She had waited to meet people who believed in God, because she heard that Jesus Christ could deliver her from alcohol addiction. Both she and her husband were known for heavy alcohol drinking. Their two sons started to drink too.

After meeting Christians and accepting Jesus she quit drinking. Her husband and two sons saw the change and began listened to her. One of the team members took Tatyana to a church service in Volgograd and she was so amazed to learn that a church service could be so lively and people clap hands and sing to the Lord.

Another local resident, Natalya came to one of the evangelistic meetings following Tatyana’s example and also got saved. Then her relative with a daughter came. They all now come every week to Bible study group and to worship services. Their neighbor Olga who worked in a local store also came to the meeting, prayed the prayer of salvation. She comes to the home church meetings regularly.

The entire town is plunged into drinking, no jobs, people need God. And He indeed adds lost souls to church.
