Our mission team from Perm went to Ohansk, one of the towns in the region, and met Eugene, a young man who was about to be drafted to the army. He wanted to serve in the army, but having listened to his friends’ stories he became a little worried. At the same time he understood that he was to serve anyways, nobody would do it for him. Besides, he was used to do every task himself, no matter how difficult it was.
Eugene met missionaries and was amazed to hear the story of Jesus and what He did for everyone: God has already taken care of him and the most difficult task was accomplished for him. Eugene gladly prayed the prayer of salvation, since he realized this was the most important decision in his life.
