GARBOLOVO (LENINGRAD REGION, RUSSIA) - In the town of Garbolovo of Leningrad Region the team from the Morning Star Church holds service in a small house, called “House on a Hill”. Every Saturday, children and adults come here. On November 14, missionaries organized fun games for children with contests, prizes and held a Bible study. And then there was a meeting for adults, where two teenage girls came. They used to attend children’s services before, but then they stopped coming. We all were glad that they returned.
It was very nice and cozy, we read the Word of God, prayed, had tea and chatted. Now, there is electricity in the “House on a Hill”, it became much warmer and brighter, thank God for that! And also, there is great joy in this small church: it is possible to get a permission to build a house of worship! At the request of the organization, which gives such permissions, we decided to make a picture of all of us, that they knew there was more than 2 or 3 believers. Next Saturday, November 21, 24 people came to the meeting. They listened to the sermon, read the Bible. Ten of them prayed the prayer of repentance. The picture was very convincing! We believe that more people would come when we build a new building for the “House on a Hill”.
