ULAN-UDE (RUSSIA) - Our team went on a 3-day trip to the town of Kyahta. One sister from our church owns a house there. That’s where our team stayed.It was a great blessing for our team that many people were open to the Gospel. We visited many buryat families. 250 peope heard the Good News and 26 of them prayed the sinner’s prayer.
Sister that hosted us, sincerely turned to God through our ministry. She told us her story and showed her farewell letter that she had written to her family. She was about to commit suiside, but something unexpected happened and stopped her. Her encounter with God happened right after that: our team told her about God, she came to church and got saved. Her life had changed radically. Showing us her letter, she sincerely thanked the Lord that He found her, that she was alive and could serve other people.
During this trip her brother and many of her relatives got saved. Total, in March more than 1,000 people heard the Good News.
