On November 11, a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the National Morning Prayer Foundation took place.
The agenda included the election of Chairman of the Board of Trustees. There were several candidates to fill the position. After discussion a representative of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith Boris Dikidzhi was unanimously elected by the members of the Board of Trustees. Boris Dikidzhi is the deputy senior presbyter of the Central Association of the RCCEF and Pastor of the ‘Thessalonica’ church in Moscow.
One of the important activities initiated by the Foundation is the National Prayer Breakfast. This is a public event, which is held annually with the participation of the Russian evangelical churches. For several years public and political leaders, religious leaders, representatives of science and culture have shown a growing interest in this spiritual event.
The Board of Trustees set the date for the next National Prayer Breakfast. It will take place in March 2014.
