USINSK (RUSSIA) – On October 1, the Source of Life Church in Usinsk, Komi Republic, celebrated their 10th Anniversary.
Guests from Syktyvkar, Vorkuta and Pechora came to congratulate pastors Pavel and Valentina Volkovs and the church members in person.
The day began with congratulations. Church memebers recited poems, played some music. Children sang a song and danced, and deeply touched everybody by that. A sister from the church played a violin. The youth performed a “Prodigal son” skit. The Source of Life Church pastors prayed for the church and its members, and for the city to be saved.
On the eve of the celebration, September 30, the bishop and the senior pastor of Syktyvkar Source of Life Church Pavel Kudrov and Pechora Source of Life Church’s pastor Grant Burnadze ministered at a seminar. The topics were “Growth and increase” and “Don’t be lazy”.
On Sunday, pastors prayed for dedication of the church building, that the church has just purchased. On the same day pastor Anatoly Potapov from Vorkuta ministered to the church. Pastor Anatoly spoke about how the church is the team of Jesus.
