New Testament Church of Saint-Petersburg celebrated the 9th anniversary of their ministry

In Russia

SAINT-PETERSBURG (RUSSIA) - On October 14-16, in the heart of Saint-Petersburg, in the Saint Apostles Peter and Paul temple an annual conference dedicated to the anniversary of the New Testament Church in Saint-Petersburg took place. Many friends and guests from Saint-Petersburg, Leningrad area and many other cities of Russia came to congratulate the church with the 9th anniversary.

Pastor of Kiev Victory Church Henry Madava opened the conference. In the sermon about the calling he focused on the thought that the man was not created purposeless. The task of a man is to enter the God’s will and fulfill the purpose and would not allow the rejection, injustice, loneliness and deceit stop him.

Edward Grabovenko, the Head Bishop of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith and senior pastor of Perm New Testament Church opened day two of the conference. In his sermon he was sharing about the contemporary church. The church in the world very often finds itself captive of a city. But that’s not what the church is destined to: a contemporary church should influence the society. Each one of us should think what he will stand before God with. And when we begin to think about it, our values and priorities line up differently – it becomes clear what really is valuable and important.

On the same day pastor Henry Madava prayed for healing, and more than 30 people came out to testify about miracles that God worked in their lives releasing them from pain and healing from diseases.

The celebration continued for three days, many memorable and meaningful events took place during the conference. For example, graduates of the Bible school were awarded. Senior pastor of the church Alexander Tsvetkov blessed the little Sofia Troshechko who was born recently. The children worship team performed on the stage for the first time and that has become a real gift and a surprise from the children ministry which now involves 115 kids! During the celebration there were testimonies about how God reveals His glory and multiplies the church and it’s fruit. In the last few years seven branch churches were opened, and we are not going to stop. So much is already done and accomplished, but so much more is still ahead! And only together we will be able to fulfill and accomplish what God has in store for us!
