New church building dedication in Volgograd

In Russia
On January 12th, Grace of Jesus Christ Church of Volgograd celebrated a long-awaited event – dedication of a new church building.

Many years pastor of the church, bishop Alexey Rudenkiy and the church prayed and dreamed about their own large property and a new large building. Their prayers were answered and the dream came true when last year the church purchased the property in one of the districts of the city.

It’s remarkable that the building reconstruction was finished in a very short time – one month! Now the church owns a large building that will serve the entire region as a Christian center.

Pastors from other churches of the region and leaders of denominations came to celebrate with the church. Among them were Head Bishops Edward Grabovenko and Sergey Ryakhovskiy and Assemblies of God representative in Russia Andy Raatz.

Edward Grabovenko addressed the church with the word of edification and along with other ministers prayed a dedication prayer for the church. “Night and day may you watch over this temple, the place where you promised you would live” (1 Kings 8:29).

Bishop Alexey Rudenkiy expressed his gratitude to all those who supported the church with prayers and finances. He underlined that only unity and joint efforts helped to get such a result.

Also on that day a pastors’ meeting took place at the church. Head Bishop Edward Grabovenko had a conversation with pastors and leaders and answered their questions.
