New Rector of Moscow Theological Institute elected

Today, on October 3, the Council of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith (RCCEF) elected Sergey Yastrzhembsky new Rector of the Moscow Theological Institute (MTI).

Sergey Yastrzhembsky became a Christian in 1992. He became part of the Salvation in Jesus Church in Chita, where he served as a youth pastor in 1994. Later, in 1997, he also became Assistant Pastor of the Salvation in Jesus Church, until he was invited to become Deputy Rector in MTI in 2012.

Sergey Yastrzhembsky graduated from MTI with a Bachelor's Degree and from Moscow Grace Academy with a Master's Degree. From 2010 to 2013 he studied in Russian Christian Academy in St. Petersburg.

From 2005, Sergey has been teaching practical ministry disciplines in MTI and Grace Academy.
