Regional Youth Conference took place in Smolensk

Youth

SMOLENSK (RUSSIA) – “I have manifested Your name to the men” (John 17:6) was the name of the annual youth conference that took place at the Holy Trinity Church of Smolensk on October 27-28. This year it united 100 participants from churches of Smolensk area and guests from Kaluga and Moscow for worshiping God, fellowshipping and edification.

The topicality of reaching the youth with the Gospel gains momentum, the topic is evermore crucial. How to make the work efficient? What is needed for that? How do we become a tool in God’s hands to fulfill the most important mission? Services of the conference provided the answers to these and many other questions.

Speakers were sharing their spiritual experience in the Good News ministry, in raising a church and developing the work with youth. The focus in training people to share personal testimonies was made at looking for the Holy Spirit leadership, close relationships with God and righteous Christian life. During the days of the conference we were able to see the creative works of the participants. We believe that the conference helped many of them to spiritually renovate and change. They received inspiration and power to fulfill Christ’s Great commandment.
