SYKTYVKAR (RUSSIA) - During winter holidays Source of Life Church of Syktyvkar opened its doors for the participants of the fourth regional youth conference “Restart4: Real-time”. The conference brought together young people from churches of the Komi Republic – Vorkuta, Usinsk, Pechora, Ukhta and other cities. The conference began with an inspirational message about the importance of personal relationship with God, and prayer for youth to renew relationships with God and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Evening continued with praise and worship service, when everybody in unity praised the Creator.
The second day of the conference was opened by the creative number, prepared by the team from Pechora. Pastor of the Pechora Church Grant Burnadze preached on dedication, and that the replenishment of love, acceptance and security is possible only in the Lord. Restoration comes when we devote ourselves to God without reserve.
In the afternoon, a seminar on “Male / Female” was held. For guys there was a message of what it means to be real men, and for girls – what real beauty is.
The second day of the conference ended with a sermon of the youth pastor Igor Kiselev on the importance of the presence of the Holy Spirit in the believer's life, because only with Him, we can manifest the Kingdom of God.
Despite the negative 35-degree Celcius weather, the third day of the conference was held at the ski base “Dynamo”, where young people were riding dog sleds.
The conference ended with preaching of Bishop Pavel Kudrov. He talked about character. Specifically about one character trait that one needs to develop. If we want to live happily, the Bible teaches us to worship God, to honor parents, honor adults and the elderly, to honor pastors and ministers of the church.
The conference was a blessing to everyone who attended. Many young people made new friends, new acquaintances. The conference brought together young people in the same vision and goal: to reach the unsaved with the Gospel. We are preparing and waiting for 'Restart5'.
