The second week of July 2013, became outstanding for many young Christians of St. Petersburg – «RE-formation» came back! The annual summer Christian camp was held from 8 to 12 of July in an unusual location – Recreation Park «LosevoDa».
Five days filled with fellowship. leisure, beautiful nature, devotions, prayers, music performed by incredible artists and even extreme, gathered young people from St. Petersburg, Samara, Yekaterinburg and from Belarus.
Nikita: It was a real REFORMATION in all areas of life! Glory to God!
Alina: Awesome time flew by. Surely the name of our Camp corresponds with the meaning of the word: God is reforming the mind, spirit and habits! Every service was awesome! I thank our pastors that this camp was held with a set of anointed guest speakers. Thank God, again and again He shows us that we need to change, in order to bring fruit in the Kingdom.
Tatiana: It's lovely to be out in the country among the beautiful nature, great experiences, vivid emotions, a little bit of adrenaline, and great company ...... swimming in clothes, rope trail, sitting by the fire, "mafia" in the night, a treasure hunt, theater, great concert of a great band, and a lot of other unique things…
Each guest and minister has made a special contribution into the overall experience of the camp:
Alexander Patlis (Belarus) – a famous Belarus singer and composer, gave a stunning concert with the Alex Patlis Band, conducted the service and a workshop for the Levites;
Alexander Khudyakov (Perm) – Head of the youth ministry department, youth pastor of the New Testament Church in Perm preached at several services about the fruit in the Kingdom, and how to be on fire for Christ;
Marina Karetnikova (St. Petersburg) – Honorary Doctor of Divinity, continued the theme of «Counterfeits of Love» and conducted seminars on the history of the evangelical revival in St. Petersburg, in late 19th – early 20th centuries, and in particular, about the students' movement of Baron Paul Nicolai;
Oleg Antsiferov (Samara) – pastor of the Revival Church, preached about family and commitment;
Christian dance studio JCGP and Maria, a dance team leader of the St. Peter Church, performed a dance in the completion of the camp.
Entertainment program in addition to sports and creative activities was by completed the contest called «Bible-ring» where participants could compete in their knowledge of the Scripture and rafting – 4 boats of the brave conquered rapids of the river Vuoksy!
One of the most exciting moments of the camp was when several young people received water baptizm. It was a time of joy and tears, dedication and extraordinary presence of God.
Just before departure participants launched sky lanterns as a sign of coming back next year. Delight of flown as a flash, five days, thanks to all the organizers of the event and the longing for next year's «RE-formation» – that's what surely everyone who visited this summer youth camp felt.
